FAQ
1. What is mobile dental anesthesia?
Mobile dental anesthesia brings professional anesthesia services directly to your dental office. Our board-certified nurse anesthesiologists work alongside your dentist to ensure you receive safe, comfortable sedation or general anesthesia for your procedure—without having to visit a hospital or surgery center.
2. What types of anesthesia do you offer?
We provide a full range of anesthesia options, including:
IV Sedation (Twilight Sleep)
General Anesthesia
Deep Sedation
The type used will depend on your medical history, procedure type, and level of anxiety or discomfort.
3. Who administers the anesthesia?
All anesthesia is administered by a licensed, board-certified nurse anesthesiologist with specialized training in outpatient care and emergency management. Patient safety is always our top priority.
4. What should I expect before my appointment?
You’ll receive detailed instructions before your procedure, including:
Fasting guidelines (no food or drink for a certain number of hours)
Medication adjustments (if necessary)
A brief medical questionnaire or consultation
A parent or guardian must be present for minors, and all patients will need someone to drive them home.
5. What if I have a medical condition?
During your pre-op consultation, we’ll review your complete medical history. Most common conditions like asthma, diabetes, and high blood pressure can be managed safely—but in some cases, a consultation with your primary physician or a hospital referral may be needed.
6. Does anesthesia increase surgeon Liability?
A physician, dentist, or surgeon is not liable for any act or omission of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist who orders or administers anesthetics in the State of Arizona.
7. How do I schedule or get more information?
